Staying in your lane is more than a saying when your role is a provider who is in need of a patient that has been presented with all the necessary insurance blessings to begin treatment; knowledge of their financial responsibility and office attendance policy.
When the patient first time arrives at your office you want them to be comfortable with a positive outlook of the total experience. The experience begins with the first voice they hear and the first face they see when arriving for their first appointment anxious with thoughts is this going to cause me more pain?!
Administration personnel wear many hats with many titles. Receptionist, Scheduler, Office Manager, Biller, Financial Manager, etc. All associated roles are important. As vital as their responsibility entails it is as important not to over crowd your office with policy enforcers!
